Life Unlimited Friendly Grocery Shopping
The West End Seniors’ Network provides free grocery shopping for seniors aged 55+ living in the West End who are not physically able to do their own shopping. The boundaries of the West End are south of Robson St. and West of Burrard St.
WESN volunteers take grocery orders over the phone, select the items requested, take the groceries through the cashier, and phone to inform seniors the cost of their groceries including delivery charge if applicable. Payment is required by VISA, MASTERCARD or Cheque on Delivery (C.O.D.). The delivery person will not take cash.
Please note that a delivery charge may apply.
The charge is set by the grocery store itself.

While there is no charge for the shopping service provided by our volunteers, seniors who appreciate this service are encouraged to become members of the West End Seniors’ Network ($12 per year) or to make a donation. If personal finances permit, please support the many programs and services provided by WESN.

For Weekly Shoppers information and registration, please call our Coordinator of Volunteers on 604 669 5051. Please note that the coordinator of this program works on a part-time basis and may not be able to fulfill your request immediately but will respond within a reasonable amount of time.
