Life Unlimited Friendly Visitors and Daily Callers
The mandate of Life Unlimited is to help homebound seniors living in the West End to feel connected to their community. The West End Seniors’ Network provides three services through the Life Unlimited Program: Friendly Visitors, Daily Callers and Weekly Shoppers.
Please note the coordinator of these programs works on a part-time basis. Wanda may not be able to fulfill your request immediately but will respond within a reasonable amount of time.
The Life Unlimited Friendly Visiting Program can also provide volunteers to accompany seniors to medical, dental and optical appointments.
Life Unlimited Senior Companionship Volunteer Friendly Visitor
Purpose: To provide companionship for socially isolated seniors and those living with age-related disabilities in Vancouver’s West End. Visit with an isolated senior in their home or take them for a walk to provide companionship and a meaningful social opportunity. The goal is to enhance the physical and emotional well being of seniors to enable them to live independently in their own homes for as long as possible.

Life Unlimited Senior Companionship Volunteer Safety Line Caller
Purpose: To provide companionship and meaningful social interaction for socially isolated seniors and those living with age-related disabilities in Vancouver’s West End through phone contact. The goal is to enhance the physical and emotional well being of seniors to enable them to live independently in their own homes for as long as possible.
Requests for any of these services should be made to Wanda at Barclay Manor on Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 604.669.5051 ext. 3.
